How does Canopy perform accrual of interest?

You select the interest calculation method for your program, and we associate it with the account. Daily interest events for the account apply the associated calculation method. For installment loans, interest calculation occurs based on outstanding principal based on loan payments. For credit cards, it occurs at the level of each line item.
